TPS (Télévision Par Satellite)
is a satellite network operator in France. It started its
operations in December 1996. With 1.2 million subscribers
in may 2001, TPS is the second largest operator in France.
Interactive television has a strong priority within its strategy
and TPS has launched more than 100 of interactive applications
since 1996, all based on the OpenTV™ technology. httv
has helped TPS a great deal in this matter.
